The car is a 1974 model and originally featured a 1.9-litre engine that actually had one of the earliest fuel injection systems, a feature you wouldn't see on a Vauxhall until 1982. The Rekord D range went out of production in 1977. Even though over 1.1 million were sold, some of the parts, particularly panels were impossible to find.
